We at South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) have exciting opportunities within our dynamic and innovative urgent care service which is driven by saving lives and ensuring our patients receives the care that they need.
We are looking to recruit reliable and enthusiastic Nurses to join our motivated, friendly and hardworking team of Clinicians based in Otterbourne, Winchester to support the smooth running of our Telephone Triage Services.
Working within this role you will carry out complex clinical telephone triage in a sensitive manner providing assessment, advice and information in line with clinical assessment software whilst utilising your knowledge, experience and professional judgement, referring to other services where appropriate.
Registered general nurse (RN1, RNA)
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Good level of computer literacy
Ability to communicate effectively
Recent professional clinical experience
Motivated towards further professional development
Understanding of Clinical Governance and audit practices
Flexible working approach
Successful candidates will be required to complete a seven weeks fulltime training programme, covering internal systems, NHS pathways assessments and call centre mentoring. We offer continued support throughout this role.
