Job Title - Contracts Compliance Officer
Location - Ipswich
Hours - 37.5 Hours per week - Monday - Friday 9-5
Salary - £10.50 - £11.00 PH LTD
Contract - 3 Months Ongoing.
An opportunity has arisen for a well organised and motivated individual to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the contracts team within an NHS service in Ipswich. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational and time keeping skills, and will be comfortable working both as part of a team, and also working individually. The role of a Contract Compliance Officer has many duties, which will include:
•To assist the Contract Compliance team and Senior Compliance Officer with the monitoring the performance and the technical aspect of administration of in-house and contracted-out support and facilities services.
•To co-ordinate regular site visits with the attendance of contractors and clinical representation when required.
•Complete documentation in conjunction with contractor and if required obtain independent view or evidence if not in agreement.
•To ensure monitoring systems reflect the data required for the technical control of those Services and Contracts.
•To work with and monitor the performance of Contractors, to notify the Management team of performance and variations including achievement risks and non-adherence to standards and procedures.
•Complete performance checks on appropriate documentation detailing any deviation from contract requirements for audit and reporting.
•To submit appropriate records and summary of inspections to Senior Compliance Officer within set guidelines.
•To draw the attention of the Senior Officers any adverse or underlying trends in the provisions or operation of the Service/Contract.
•Support audits, as requested by Senior Compliance Officer.
•Support the undertaking of Patient and Staff surveys as and when required.
•Undertake duties in relation to the Contracts as required by Deputy Director of Commercial Resources.
•Monitor and inspect Trusts properties as required, report faults/deficiencies as requested.
•To receive and ensure reporting on all support services contracts when undertaking a site visit.
•Undertake hygiene and food safety inspections, audit food service, wastage, inspect ward kitchens, fridges and equipment and assist Senior food hygiene Compliance Officer.
•To report any untoward occurrences or hazardous situations immediately to the Senior Officer/Support Services Manager.
•Adopt and adhere to process and procedures developed to monitor and report on the Support contracts operated throughout the Trust.
•As required develop and inform the Senior Contract Compliance Officer when changes are required or situations changed.
Ensure that the core data is kept up-to-date and advise of any changes. Example: room data and cleaning schedules frequency.
•RSA 3 Word Processing Qualification
•NVQ Business Administration Level 3 or equivalent
•Accurate data input
•Confident phone manner
•Extensive Microsoft Office experience
•Excellent time keeping skills
•Excellent organisational skills
•Intermediate skills of data inputting and audio typing
