My Client is looking for an Executive Business Manager, who will work as part of a team delivering an effective service supporting the Executive Directors, Trust Chair and other senior managers across the Trust. This is a key role in managing the strategic and day-to-day business of the organisation, including being accountable for the office functions of the Executive Directors. The post holder will deliver a selection of key outcomes, including the management of projects within high priority areas and the development of key reports and business cases as required by the Executive Directors.
The post holder will work closely with a broad group of corporate and clinical staff across the Trust to improve performance across a number of priority areas, including quality, governance, clinical leadership, productivity and patient safety. The post holder will be organised, flexible and an excellent communicator who is comfortable working with staff throughout all levels of the Trust.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Working with certain direct reports to the Executive Directors to ensure executive functions such as Board reports, strategic and business development and external reports are fulfilled
•Assisting the Executive Directors in key portfolio areas, which may include objectives across Patient Safety, Clinical Leadership, Clinical (including Medical) Productivity, Corporate Nursing, People & Organisational Development, Estates and Facilities, Strategy, Finance and Procurement
•Manage the business of the Executive Directors' office and provide support to ensure agreed objectives are articulated and delivered through and efficient, high quality and effective service
•To act as a point of contact for named Executive Directors, liaising internally and externally with all levels of management, staff and organisations to national level
•Engage on behalf of the Executive Director and liaise with colleagues in the wider health community - e.g. Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP), Accountable Care Partnership (ACP), promoting partnerships and co-operative working
•Manage actions which arise from meetings that are assigned to the Executive Director, brief senior managers and direct reports on required actions to be completed, secure updates and be responsible for ensuring actions are completed in the required timeframes and to accurate and appropriate standards
