An opportunity has arisen for a well organised and motivated individual to provide efficient and effective support to the team within an NHS service in East Sussex. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational and time keeping skills, and will be comfortable working both as part of a team, and also working individually.
As a porter you may be moving
• patients on trolleys or in wheelchairs
• stores and equipment
• samples of patients' blood
• post and parcels
• cylinders of gas
• trolleys of food and drink
The successful candidate will have to deliver routine stock supplies of pharmaceutical products to wards; to collect and return all pharmacy transportation boxes and deliver controlled drugs securely to wards, making sure the audit trail is accurately maintained.
To be able to do this job, the candidate will need to lift loads of up to 20kg. Flexibility is required, as sometimes runs can go out late

All candidates must have a previous DBS within the last 3 years and must be able to provide 2 previous employment references.
