One of my favourite Nursing Home Managers would like me to find her a Night Nurse.
Her home is big, 70 beds, divided into two units, there are always two nurses on duty at night working with a team of carers and med trained Care Practitioners.
It is a seriously great company, with a supportive and kind approach for their staff. They do deal with a lot of EOL and Palliative, and as a result, have an onsite counsellor full time to emotionally support their staff.
They are committed to training staff, if you are somebody with an interest in Palliative care and would like to take it further, they will support you in your learning, even placing you on seconment with a Hospice, whilst you undertake the Module at UWE.
If you are an experienced nurse, looking for two set nights, Monday and Tuesday every week, with the occaisional option of overtime to cover annual leave etc.
COVID - if you have to isolate, etc, this company will continue to pay you at your normal rate.
