My client is one of the UK’s largest healthcare providers and they are looking to recruit an RGN or RMN qualified Nurse to work as Night Nurse Manager. The position is at their large care home in Bolton that looks after elderly residents and younger adults, supporting those with dementia and physical disabilities.

Details of this Night Nurse Manager vacancy and what the home is offering:

• 42 hours per week on a permanent contract, working nights on a flexible rota

• Rates of pay of £16.61 per hour, which is equivalent to NHS Band 6 rates of pay and a salary in the region of £36,276

As Night Manager, your responsibilities will involve providing clinical leadership and line management to the care and nursing teams, along with coordinating clinical services during the night shift. You will ensure the safety and security of the service during the night shift, undertaking regular rounds to monitor quality assurance, assisting with emergencies and providing clinical support.

Candidates for this Night Manager post should meet the following person specification:

• NMC registered Adult General Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN

• Demonstrate proven post registration experience, with recent supervisory experience in an elderly and dementia care home setting

• Good knowledge and understanding of CQC essential standards and Health and Safety legislation

• Demonstrate good clinical skills and knowledge and show clinical credibility, in addition to being able to support and guide the team of Nurses and HCAs on the night shift
