Mediplacements are currently recruiting for a very exciting client within London with fantastic projections. Looking for a Responsible Pharmacist for a Permanent Night Shift position based in London. •Paying £40k-£50k including equity in the company •London •ASAP start •Night Shift Core Duties: •Manufacturing and Dispensing •Releasing and checking batches •Writing policy and procedures What you'll do: ●Maintain clinical governance and regulatory compliance of the pharmacy. ●Ensure all members of staff adhere to the Quality System. ●Ensure Policies for Information and Clinical Governance are adhered to by all members of staff. ●Ensure all staff are trained to meet all legal requirements with the GPhC & MHRA and, where necessary, supervise the training of trainee dispensers ●Ensure SOP's are trained out effectively to all staff and all training is documented ●Ensure systems and all documents are readily accessible and of a sufficient standard to pass a GPhC inspection. ●Maintain clinical risk assessments and ensure all legal requirements are met. ●Ensure best practices are followed to ensure the quality of product and facility ●Be the responsible person for the operation ●Having a hands on approach to all aspects of the operation within the facility including quality and batch control analysis ●Work with the team to continuously improve the safety, efficiency and quality of the facility. ●Perform batch release processes by reviewing all batch data ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained for every batch. GMP responsibilities: ●Report any suspected falsified medicines if required to the MHRA, as required. ●Report any deviations, complaints & raw material issues that could lead to a recall ●Maintain training compliance in GDP and GMP procedures ●Ensure that all staff employed temporarily or permanently carrying out activities are trained appropriately ●Provide internal GDP/GMP training ●Collate data for Management Review Meetings, attend meetings and carry out any agreed actions In order to qualify for this position, it is essential that you experience working as a responsible Pharmacist registered on GPhC, knowledge of GMP and QA For more information, or to apply for this locum position please contact the Pharmacy Team on 0207 613 6789.
