Wood Dene and Ross Dene are two buildings on one site and they offer a transition service for young people and we also offer emergency placements during times of crisis. The service provides round-the-clock support to up to 16 individuals with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders, learning disabilities and mental health needs. We support people with all aspects of everyday life from personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, attending health appointments, support with finances, social activities and outings.
We are currently recruiting a night support worker to work on a rotating shift pattern. This would include 3 nights on week 1 and 4 nights on week 2, including alternate weekends working 9:30pm-7:30am.
As a night support worker you will be supporting residents who are awake to complete personal cares and prepare food and drinks if required. You will also be required to complete daily housekeeping and cleaning duties as required and update paperwork, complete health and safety checks and ensure the residents are safe and well throughout the night.
Care experience is preferred for this role due to the nature of the service.
