Hays is currently looking for Independent Non Medical Prescriber to work in Romford, East London.
You will be working with a leading health and care charity who work with individuals, families that are affected by drugs, alcohol, crime, homelessness, domestic abuse and antisocial behaviour.
As directed by the Service's Medical Lead, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team delivering recovery orientated alcohol and drug intervention services.
The contact is 3 days/week 9:00 to 5:00 to start asap for 3 months plus (days are flexible).
In your role you will:
Offer care for presenting clients;
Initiate prescribing of and/or make amendments to prescriptions of opiate and/or alcohol substitute treatments and other related medications;
Take a lead role in developing the prescribing clinic, acting as a point of contact for other workers and partner agencies around prescribing issues.
