South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust are currently recruiting for a number of nursing roles across the organisation for Newly Qualified or Qualified Nurses . Throughout all ward areas we strive to provide an excellent standard of nursing care and are therefore looking for caring, enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated individuals to help to promote our Vision and our Trust Values on an everyday basis.

Newly Qualified Nurses - Preceptorship

South Warwickshire run a comprehensive Preceptorship program which is tailored to support all new qualified nurses joining the register, to assist in the transition from being a student to an accountable practitioner. An experienced preceptor will be available to support, coach, assist and assess through the transitional period and monitor your progress. The practice development team run development days, reflective sessions and supervision in practice according to individual needs. We encourage all staff to build on their skills as they feel comfortable and there are opportunities to extend their competencies in practice.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of individuals and expects all staff to share this commitment. As part of our safe recruitment practice, it is a mandatory requirement for all newly appointed staff requiring a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to be registered with the DBS Update Service. All eligible staff recruited to the Trust are expected to maintain their annual update subscription whilst employed with the Trust as a condition of employment. The cost of the first year’s subscription to the update service will be reimbursed by the Trust as a payroll refund.
