We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical/ Nurse Endoscopist to join our team of nurses within the endoscopy units at East Sussex Healthcare Hospitals. Both units are fully JAG accredited and are screening centres for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme. We are therefore seeking a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic nurse who wants to join our friendly teams and to support the continued development of the service. Clinical endoscopists are not expected to be qualified in all areas of endoscopy as we have a very good record in training and support in endoscopy. Within this role you will be one of a team who are committed to improving the patient pathway to promote and deliver high standards of patient care, outcomes, experience, safety and quality. The successful applicant will be a first level nurse with a significant experience of LGI procedures. The role will require working unsupervised as an expert practitioner, performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures. Your application and interview will demonstrate the skill set needed to join us in delivering, developing and teaching expert care within this exciting and challenging speciality.
