We are looking for Registered General Nurses (RGN’s) for our clients medium sized nursing home based in Wigan. This is a beautiful home set in attractive gardens and specialises in supporting elderly clients as well as clients with dementia.

DAYS AND NIGHT shifts available – 36 hours per week.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and motivated individuals who have experience of working within elderly care and are dedicated to providing high standards of care at all times.

Reporting to the Home Manager, you be responsible for leading the carers on the shift, perform all general nursing duties to a high standard - following CQC, company policies and NMC guidelines.

You will be responsible for updating care plans and administering safe medication.

A current and valid NMC registration / PIN is essential.

You must have excellent communication and written skills and have previous experience working within a nursing home or elderly care setting. Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised, you will be a team player but able to work on your own initiative. You will be dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the home.
