Oncology Ward:

On our Oncology Ward we have a Radio Iodine Suite.   We also provide Gamma Knife, Radiotherapy, and Systemic Anticancer Therapy for our patients. We were the first private hospital to introduce the Systemic Anticancer Therapy (SACT) passport / competency training. We also are very proud of our highly prized end of life care, with a comprehensive Palliative Care Service and the whole hospital is working towards the Gold Standard Framework accreditation. We are supported by clinical nurse specialists, specialist oncology pharmacists, physios, OTs, dietician, counsellor and a complimentary therapy team. We are proud that we listen to our staff, patients and relatives and go the extra mile, beyond their expectations.

Medical Ward:

On our medical ward we have cardiothoracic, renal and respiratory patients. We look after patients following open heart and cardiac catheterisation procedures. We have world renowned Respiratory Consultants and have patients travel across the globe to see them. We have our own Haemodialysis unit on the first floor to support the renal patients. This is a fast pace complex ward with support and expertise provided by our wise Outreach team, Site leads, Lead Nurse, Srs and experienced nurses who take charge of the ward. There is no doubt, you will build on your knowledge your confidence and skills with this friendly team, there will be so much for you to learn and grow.

10am  Registration, Coffee and Croissants

10.30 Presentations from Oncology and Medical Ward, meet the team.

12.00 - 13.00  Candidates split in half for Drug calculation test and hospital tour – (test only if applying on the day.)

13:00 -13.30   Lunch in our Canteen

13.30 Interviews start  (details to be confirmed)

We are holding interviews on the day so if you’d like to stay for an interview, you will be with us into the early afternoon.
