Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner

Location: Muswell Hill, London N10.
Salary: £17 to £21k, DOE.
Contract: Full time, permanent.
Hours: Mon - Friday, 8am-5pm, one week 9am-6pm the next, on rotation.

Rosemount Pre School Nursery is a privately-owned setting in Muswell Hill, London N10. Established since 1996 we offer part time and full-time care and education to children aged 2-5 years (Rated outstanding by Ofsted in January 2018). Open for 50 weeks of the year.

We are currently recruiting full time early year's practitioners (nursery nurse) for immediate start to join our friendly and energetic team.

Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner - Main duties of the role:

The role consists of being a key person for a small group of children, carrying out observations, and planning for next steps, along with the day to day general care of the children.

Ongoing training in all early years' matters is given, as we encourage and assist in continuous professional development.

Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner - Candidates Specification:

- Childcare experience in a nursery environment is essential, though we will consider newly qualified applicants.

- Minimum Level 3 childcare qualification or its equivalent is desirable, though we will consider suitable candidates with Level 2 or equivalent, who are prepared to work towards their Level 3.

- Excellent written and communication skills

- Knowledge of policies and procedures such as safeguarding and health and safety are essential.


- Excellent rates of pay based on experience and qualification
