Select OH are currently looking for an Occupational Health Nurse to join our clients team on a 6-9 month contract based at our clients site in Cambridge.

This is a full time position where the successful individual will work Monday-Friday, 8.00am-4.00pm. You must also be comfortable working autonomously within this role.

The role encompasses health surveillance, safety critical medicals, treatments and general health promotion and wellbeing activities.
Provide a full OH/Treatment service in line with the client contract including consultation, clinical assessment & treatment, advice, education, medical assessments and D&A testing where appropriate and in accordance with patient group directives and departmental protocols.
Assist in the provision of health promotion and wellbeing on site.

Essential Skills

Registered general nurse or qualification in adult nursing
Driving license
Good clinical knowledge and expertise for interpretation of health screening / surveillance results
Knowledge of health and safety legislation
Excellent clinical skills, including suturing and cannulation
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good judgement and decision-making skills
Presentation skills – for delivery of group health promotion initiatives, health and safety meetings etc.
Motivation and ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team
Good time keeping skills
Ability to organise work demands and priorities to achieve goals
