My client based in South West London is currently recruiting an Occupational Therapist to work in an Acute Hospital.
Occupational Therapy is essential to ensuring safe hospital discharges and maintaining patient flow from the hospital. Support is needed on our clients medical & senior health wards primarily for acute assessment, discharge planning, equipment provision and liaison/ referral to community therapy services. Staff would need to be able to work with patients recovering from Covid.
Occupational Therapy is also indicated in critical care if staff available have the required skills.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will have a role within a multidisciplinary team and you will expected to have experience conducting assessments and tailoring treatment plans to the patients' needs.
You must have the below requirements to work as a Occupational Therapist:
BSc OT or DIP COT
Full HCPC registration
Experience of working as an Occupational Therapist
High standards in written and oral communication
