An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapy Assistant within a rotational role in the Integrated Occupational Therapy service. Rotating across the Lochaber Community based Occupational Therapy service and Belford Hospital inpatient wards (2 x 15 beds). This role is ideal for a Band 4 looking for the unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the acute hospital and primary care community. There may be an opportunity for this post to be offered as a band 3 development post.

You will be expected to independently manage a designated caseload of individuals defined as 'non complex' providing assessment and interventions on behalf of qualified Occupational Therapy staff. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is required as is excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Therapy Services support staff development through appraisal process, supervision and you will also be required to participate in regular in-service training.

A full current driving licence and use of own car for work purposes is essential.
