North Middlesex University Hospital is one of London's busiest acute hospitals, serving more than 350,000 people living in Enfield and Haringey and the surrounding areas, including Barnet and Waltham Forest.

Every day, on average, we see 500 patients in A&E; 15 babies are born in our maternity unit; about 450 inpatients are cared for on our wards; about 50 patients have major or minor surgery in one of our 10 operating theatres; and about 800 people attend our outpatients clinics.

We provide a full range of adult, elderly and children's services across medical and surgical disciplines. Our specialist services include stroke, HIV/AIDS, cardiology (including heart failure care), haematology, diabetes, sleep studies, fertility and orthopaedics. What we are looking for:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist, who wishes to develop their leadership skills, or an existing Band 7 Occupational Therapist. You will lead the OT Team providing a service to the acute adult in-patient orthopaedic , surgical and medical wards( including oncology).

You will provide decisive and effective Occupational Therapy input and demonstrate leadership qualities, a flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure within a challenging and fast paced MDT environment .

You will be well supported and given opportunities to consolidate and develop your skills further.

The post holder will be required to participate in weekend working as part of a 7 day working rota.
