Role: Junior Sister (oncology Inpatient)
Location: Central London
Salary: Upto £52k plus benefits
Hours: 37.5 per week, various shifts available

MediTalent Group are recruiting on behalf of a state of the art hospital in central London for a junior sister to work in there oncology inpatient department. You will join a friendly and well established team who value their warm working culture. Within this role you will facilitate the provision of a coordinated, high quality inpatient service to cancer patients in consultation with the inpatient manager. You will act as a deputy to the mangers and be in charge when they are not available. You will work 37.5 hours per week, this will be made up of various shifts including days, nights and weekends. You will To be competent in the recognition of life threatening/ and or oncology emergencies and act appropriately. You will Maintain clinical credibility and visibility across all patient care areas within the Clinic. You will also Develop and implement link nurse/practice development initiatives in consultation with the nurse specialists/ Clinical Training Team. Another part of your role will be too organise workload in line with clinical priorities as well as ensuring patients medical records are kept up to date and that top service is provided to patients at all times inline with hospital policies.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid NMC pin number and hold a Post registration course within this specialist field (such as Chemotherapy Administration). You will have a Minimum of 3 years' experience in Oncology Nursing and either already be working as a junior sister or have been working as a senior nurse for some time and looking to step up into a junior sister position. Ideally you will have experience of clinical audit and ability to interpret results and change service delivery accordingly.
