They currently offer treatment to patients undergoing medical and surgical interventions. They operate within state of the art facilities equipped with the latest technology. Their hospitals are able to offer the most complex surgeries to patients with exceptional aftercare both inpatient and outpatient. Opportunities: We are currently looking to recruit a Staff Nurse to work in the outpatient department. This enables you to get exposure to working across multiple specialties and different environments to really broaden your skill set.
Working alongside the Senior Staff Nurses in the unit as a Outpatient Nurse you will be responsible for ensuring the right standard of care is provided to all patients at all time. You will have an innate ability to quickly identify any issues or concerns and act accordingly. Working as part of the team you will be competent across Venepuncture, Cannulation and Phlebotomy, carrying out these tasks on a daily basis while maintaining a safe environment for patients under your care. Part of your role as a Outpatient Nurse with involve administrative duties such as updating clinic sheets, answering queries from patients, consultants and secretaries and booking consultant rooms. You will assist medical staff when necessary and deputise for any senior members of staff in their absence.
To be considered for this role as a Outpatient Nurse you will have at least one years' experience working in a medical, surgical setting or outpatient setting. You will have experience with IV, Phlebotomy and Cannulation however training can be offered in certain areas if necessary to enthusiastic candidates. You will be a caring and compassionate nurse with strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. You will adapt easily to new situations and be able to build strong working relationships within the team.
