Outreach Nurse – Critical Care

Salary starting from £42,000 + 9% Shift Enhancement + £3k for ITU Course (60 credits) + Benefits

As an Outreach Nurse you will contribute to a 24 hour, 7 days a week service provision. Additionally, you will be responsible and accountable for your own practice and for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service at all times.

You will be required to review patients who are deteriorating on the wards to ensure that they receive timely and appropriate treatment, as well as supporting patients following step down from Critical Care.

The ability to carry out a comprehensive patient assessment and recognise areas of concern is essential.

It is a requirement of the role to provide clinical assessment, management and monitoring of acute unwell patients as well as advise and support regarding management of critically ill patients.

You will work as part of a team to promote and maintain the best practice in clinical standard and will work closely with other senior leaders to develop and improve the service. As part of the cardiac arrest team, you will need excellent interpersonal, communication, decision- making and organisational skills and ability to work as part of the multidisciplinary team.
