Job Description

Job Title: Paediatric Senior Staff Nurse

Key Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Paediatric Senior Staff Nurse to join a Private Hospital in Central London. As a Paediatric Senior Staff Nurse, you will work as part of a close knit team providing excellent patient focused care within the Paediatrics Team. You'll be a caring and compassionate nurse, delivering a high standard of care to our patients. We value all of our people and will provide you support and a great place to work.

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 per annum / £15.38- £18.46 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week. (negotiable depending on experience )

Location: Central London

Hours: 37.5 - Full Time

Contract Type: Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Work in accordance with NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) guidelines.
  • Prioritising patient care needs.
  • Possess effective time management skills to ensure patients needs are met
  • Effective communication within the Multi Disciplinary Team.
  • Engaging in and promoting multi-disciplinary teamwork alongside: Specialist Doctors, nurses, interpreters and therapists.
  • Understand the principles of delivering prescribed treatment safely to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Participating in Research/Evidence based practice groups to enhance and maintain the delivery of care.
  • Competency displayed at the bedside, patient assessment, clinical skills and documentation.
  • Act at all times as the patient advocate.
