Job Description

LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare has an exciting opportunity for a Level 1 Registered Nurse to join our growing Health Care Centre team based in Harrow and surrounding areas of London. The role is to deliver high quality 1 to 1 clinical care to a caseload of our patients; treatments will include seeing patients for bloods, IV therapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections. Cannulation and venepuncture competency and experience of administering intravenous therapy is essential.


This is an ideal opportunity for a Registered General Nurse who wishes to promote a progressive attitude to the continuous improvement of standards of care through research and evidence based practice and the role will require a strong and dynamic individual who is passionate about providing support to patients.

The role is Part Time (22.5 hours per week) and you will be working both in the field covering Homecare plus within a newly developed mobile unit based in Harrow.

Job Requirements

You will have:

  • a valid NMC PIN with Level 1 Nurse registration

  • 2 years plus Oncology nursing experience

  • post registration qualification in administering cytotoxic chemotherapy (equivalent to ENB 237 or N59) or prepared to work towards

  • cannulation and venepuncture competency and experience of administering intravenous anti-cancer therapy is essential

  • evidence of on-going professional development  

  • full UK driving license is essential

  • willingness to travel within your region

  • good organisational and prioritisation skills

  • ability to work independently and also as part of a team
