Peripatetic Nurse / Paramedic
South West Sites (Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Devon & Cornwall and Avon & Somerset)

Full time – 42 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for a Peripatetic Nurse / Paramedic to join a reputable prison service in covering sites in the South West region.
The role involves…
* Carrying out medical and forensic examinations
* Attending police custody to assess, document and treat detainees
* To be available for court attendance when requested
Candidate requirements:
* HCPC Paramedic or Registered General Nurse with minimum 3 years post qualification experience
* At least 12 months recent acute / emergency experience
* Ability to take blood samples
* Full UK driving license and own vehicle
* Experience in an autonomous/lone working role
Benefits:
