Duties and Responsibilities
● Extensive Pharmaceutical knowledge, applied to a hospital environment, particularly within haematology and oncology
● Maintains a high level of clinical practice in accordance with legal and professional requirements and ensuring patient safety
● Provide advice and opinion to consultants, clinical managers, staff and patients
● Excellent team leadership, team building and staff motivation
● Decisive, able and willing to take managerial responsibility
● Good organiser of self and others
● Good attention to detail
● Ability to work under pressure and to time frames
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Act as role model for departmental staff
● Ability to think strategically
● Prioritising workloads
Skills and Experience
● Registered member of the General Pharmaceutical Council
● Post Graduate Diploma / Masters in Clinical pharmacy or equivalent and experience across a wide range of clinical pharmacy practice
● 5 years’ experience in a similar organisation
● Experience within haematology and oncology services

As the pharmacy manager, you will be responsible for a growing and dynamic pharmacy team who provide services across inpatients, day care and outpatients from two pharmacy locations. You will work closely with the senior management team and peers across our clients Healthcare to develop and implement a strategy that provides high quality, clinically effective pharmaceutical care.
