Broomfield Hospital Pharmacy Department is currently looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active and motivated Assistant Technical Officer (ATO) to support pharmacists and technicians in providing pharmaceutical care to patients of the hospital. This important and interesting role will include various duties including reception, or shop duties, working in goods receiving, clerical duties, and the packing and supply of medicines to wards and departments.
This role will involve heavy lifting and therefore the post holder will need to be physically fit.
The post holder will undertake full training and work towards obtaining an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services

All Registered Nurse/Midwife/Theatre Practitioner or ODP you will be required to take a Drug Calculation Test. (please note 100% pass mark required)
All HCA/HCSW/MCA will be required to take a Literacy and Numeracy test (80% pass required) as part of the pre employment process.
