Belmont Recruitment are currently working with an NHS Trust in Manchester, they’re looking for a Pharmacy Technician for a long term booking.
An excellent development opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed individual to gain specialised skills in a clinical role. They are looking for a motivated pharmacy technician to join their diverse team to support the Ward Based Clinical Pharmacy Technician service.
You will integrate into the ward multidisciplinary team assisting in medication reconciliation, discharge planning, TTO medicine supply and patient counselling.
Additional duties include; the assessment of patients own drugs, audits, medication ordering, dispensing and checking of supplies.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- At least one year’s post qualification experience within similar setting
- Hold a nationally recognised Pharmacy technician qualification
- A flexible approach to accommodate the needs of the service
