Physician Associate vacancy in Chester; 12-month locum placement at high rates of pay!

A friendly GP surgery in Chester is looking for a Physician Associate with previous experience working in a GP surgery setting, to join them for 12 months (Feb 2021 - Feb2022) working up to 37.5 hours per week.

You would earn £38.50 per hour (including holiday pay) for weekday shifts. You must be available to work on either a Monday or a Friday each week, but otherwise there is complete flexibility with which hours/days you work.

This post could fit alongside another part-time role, and you have the flexibility to fit work around any other work/life commitments you may have.

You would work alongside other clinicians (who works full time at the same site) as well as an assigned supervising GP and the wider team of GPs, HCAs, Practice Nurses and Pharmacists.

Work experience with them would enable you to make important professional connections in your area, and would stand out on your CV. Not to mention the opportunity to boost earnings with high locum rates for up to 12 months! It is not often that you can secure high locum rates for a full 12-month period, so this is worth considering!

For this post it is essential that you;

• Have a Post-Graduate Diploma/Master's in Physician Associate Studies
• Have a degree or equivalent in life or healthcare sciences
• Be a member of the Faculty of Physician Associates (FPA) - and ideally also the Physician Associate Managed Voluntary Register (PAMVR).
• Have experience working in GP surgery setting, undertaking the following tasks;
  • Medical history taking
  • Physical examinations
  • order diagnostic tests and interpreting results
  • make diagnoses and clinical assessments
  • making and evaluating care plans
