Job Description

We are recruiting for a full-time Physiotherapist based in Preston with a competitive salary of up to £35,000 per year, working 40 hours per week. This Preston-based full-time role is at a complex nursing service with a difference where it will become home for up to 30 service users. Our client's mission is to make every day better for everyone they care for and work with.

With the ability to earn up to £35,000 per year, our client's Physiotherapist role is in a unique layout to care for adults with a vast array of complex mental and physical health needs and associated challenging behaviours. You will lead the therapy services, alongside the support of an Occupational Therapist and Therapy Assistants. Your enthusiasm, warmth and compassion are fundamental in helping their service users to feel respected, included and cared for.

Your primary Physiotherapist responsibilities:

* Taking responsibility for a clinical caseload
* Carrying out assessments and reviews, ensuring that service users receive appropriate treatment
* Using appropriate communication skills and tools to communicate with service users
* Monitoring, evaluating and recording patient progress, modifying treatment plans as required

We expect that you will be a qualified physiotherapist with at least 1-year post qualification experience, ideally from within the private sector; however, this is not essential. Experience in mental health and neurological care would also be advantageous; however, full training is provided via a comprehensive induction.
