Podiatry Clinical Lead, band 8a

Salary £42,414 - £49,969 + £4664 HCAS

Please be aware that any appointment towards the middle or upper end of this salary range will be subject to experience and particularly any current relevant NHS experience and banding.

Excellent benefits package available including various pension schemes, discounted gym membership, cycle to work scheme, discounted electronics, opportunity to apply for low interest personal loans and an excellent lease car scheme.

Bromley Healthcare CIC is an NHS community provider and part of the NHS family.

But we are a little different; we like to think that we stand out from typical NHS organisations as Bromley Healthcare CIC is actually a co-owned social enterprise, co-owned by its employees. This means that our staff remain on NHS Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions and are members of the NHS pension scheme (providing you are eligible), if not we can offer the Nest or Scottish Widows pension schemes.

What difference does this make?

Because our Nurses, therapists and support staff co-own Bromley Healthcare CIC and have a real say in how our services are run, this has created a greater sense of ownership, responsibility & motivation among our staff which in turn creates better quality for our patients & families.

If you are keen to work for a dynamic, forward thinking but different type of NHS employer then Bromley Healthcare could be for you!

We are looking for Podiatry Clinical lead to join our talented team.

Are you an experienced Podiatrist with strong leadership skills seeking a new challenge? Can you inspire a team? If so this could be for you!

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, committed and enthusiastic individual to provide clinical leadership for the community Podiatry Service within the borough of Bromley.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a service that is making a real difference in the lives of people who live within the borough of Bromley. The service has recently been restructured, and this is a great time to join the Service and be pivotal in driving through change. The post-holder will be responsible for the operational management of the service ensuring that local targets are met and reported on in a timely and accurate manner. The team has a number of important relationships within the borough of Bromley and it will be your responsibility to maintain and enhance these relationships with key partners and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a clinical degree (or equivalent) with substantial post qualification experience. You will have a proven track record of managing a team, organisational change and delivering to agreed targets. You will have relevant clinical experience and will be available to offer support to junior colleagues in managing complex cases. You will also have a clinical commitment (50% of your time). You will be involved in developing service delivery to patients to meet national standards across all care pathways. You will have regular 1.1 meetings with the Assistant Director.

Priority consideration will be give to BHC staff formally identified as at risk

Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the resident labour market test. UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the [Click here to apply].
From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, must present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Adult dependants (over 18 years old) will also be subject to this requirement. Guidance can be found here [Click here to apply].
