Oakwood Lane Medical Practice is seeking to recruit a clinical pharmacist to work as part of our GP Practice team.
We are an outward looking and dynamic practice with key links to the CCG and our Primary Care Network. We have a list size of just over 13,700 patients and operate from a state of the art, purpose built health centre.
For a description of the tasks expected to perform and the skills and competency needed, please see the attached job description and person specification.
We are looking for somebody that will take the lead on medicines management within the practice so in addition to a high level of clinical expertise, experience managing relationships, processes and performance indicators is highly desirable.
Peer support will be available on both a local and city wide level from the primary Care Network and the Leeds Confederation respectively.
If you are an enthusiatic self starter wishing to embark upon a new challenge and join a dynamic and innovative practice, apply for this role by providing a CV and a covering letter. In your covering letter outline why you would like the role and how you meet the requirements set out in the job description and person specification.
The role is being advertised as 12 months fixed term but there will be an opportunity to evaluate this after 12 months and if appropriate make this position permanent.
Questions, queries and informal visits are encouraged and accommodated.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test. The UK Visas and Immigration department requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, must present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Adult dependants (over 18 years old) will also be subject to this requirement.
