What you will be doing
As a Nursing Associate Practice Nurse you will work 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hour shifts) and be supporting the Physical Health Lead Nurse at Thornford Park Hospital a service for people to build a brighter future, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork.
Working alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will support and encourage service users to improve their physical health and will be responsible for risk assessments, liaising with our GP service, supervising junior staff and implementing screening processes.
No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine.

You will be working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
To be successful as Practice Nurse Associate you'll need:
* Nursing Associate experience
* Experience in a similar environment
* Evidence of clinical practice development
Where you will be working
Location: Crookham Hill, Crookham Common, Thatcham RG19 8ET
You will be working at Thornford Park, a 130 bedded independent hospital which supports service users that require medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services. In addition to these services there is also a PICU Mental Health Service.
The service provides a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering people in their recovery and rehabilitation.
