OxFed Health & Care Ltd have introduced a Seven Day Access Service to deliver better access to general practice in Oxford City by increasing the number of appointments available and by introducing more evening and weekend appointments.
As a practice nurse in the 7DAS you will be offering routine practice nursing care to any patient who is registered with an Oxford City practice. You will be working alongside a variety of clinicians including GPs, Minor Illness Nurses, HCAs, physiotherapists and phlebotomists to offer a wide range of evening and weekend primary care appointments.
This is not a walk-in service and appointments can only be booked through the patient’s own practice reception team. The service will cater for a comprehensive range of practice nursing needs although it is likely there will be some patients who are not suitable because of complex medical and social problems. Under these circumstances patients will be advised to see a nurse in their own practice.
You will be working at one of the 7DAS sites which are located in various locations around the city.
