Spire Tunbridge Wells has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our highly skilled and patient focused Pre-Assessment department. All nursing backgrounds will be considered, as full training will be provided.

Spire Tunbridge Wells is a 40 bedded acute hospital situated in rural Kent, located within five miles of Royal Tunbridge Wells and on the boundaries of West Sussex. The hospital offers a range of services and facilities including two operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. There are outpatient and physiotherapy departments providing services six days a week

Duties and responsibilities

You will take responsibility for running your own clinics, making accurate patient observations, completing medical history and giving medication advice and act appropriately to abnormal pathology results. You will be part of a very supportive team delivering a best in class service, ensuring the health and wellbeing needs of our patients are met in the run up to their operation. You will be trusted and supported to make decisions that are deemed the best for our patients care.

Who we are looking for

  • NMC registration
  • Phlebotomy experience & ECG skills (or willing to be trained)
  • Pre Assessment experience (desirable)
