Job Description

Private Patients Billing Administrator – 37.5 Hours/Permanent

The Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre is the largest day-case centre in Europe. It operates under a Standard Acute Contract, providing a wide range of outpatient, inpatient, diagnostic and therapeutic services. It is the only independent sector facility in the UK to offer teaching and research, including pre and post-graduate medical, nursing and AHP training. We opened our first hospital in Nottingham in 2008 – a high-volume elective treatment centre, designed, built and commissioned with clinicians and patients needs in mind. It treats around a quarter of a million patients a year, with an outstanding rating for surgery from the CQC.

The Nottingham Private Patient team are seeking a new Private Patients Billing Administrator to join their team. This exciting opportunity will play a key role in the Private Patients Team and involve the processing of all private patient activity as well as supporting the delivery of the Private Patients pathway at the Treatment Centre.

You will contribute to providing an outstanding patient experience and ensuring that all aspects of the private patient service runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be required to work without direct supervision and be a first point of contact for the Private Patients Finance team. Your conduct must be exemplary, demonstrating patient focused interaction and care at all times. You will work to deliver an outstanding patient experience for all patients, advocating and building public trust in the Circle brand.

Are you interested in a varied job role? Do you have excellent customer service? Do you have a billing background or interest in finance? Can you work on your own initiative? If so, we would love to hear from you.
