Available for immediate start I am seeking Process Operators on temporary assignments on day / evening shifts up to 12 months for our client a UK based Global healthcare organisation in rural County Durham where you will join a supportive supply chain team manufacturing vital medicines and have the opportunity to progress to a full time role.
No production experience required previous customer service , retail or NHS /medical training welcomed to apply
Your responsibilities will include
1. To work as a flexible multi-skilled member of a production team 2. To ensure compliance in Safety Quality and Training standards 3. To meet Customer Service, Cost and Quality targets Operate manufacturing equipment in a safe manner; Terminally sterilise filled products; Ensure correct components are ordered in a timely manner to meet production demands; Run filling machines; Sample products; Perform filter integrity tests; Perform preventive maintenance on production line machinery; Ensure continuous production is maintained where possible; Communicate with operators from other shifts; Other duties as assigned (complete/check documentation and work orders, flexibility to support other areas)
Information you need to consider :
Your typical shift working hours will be early 6am - 2pm and late 2pm -10pm on 2 week rota 37.5 hour /week but may include nights 10 pm - 6am on 1 in 3 week rotation
weekly pay 1 week in arrears
Essential requirements for your application :
To be a successful candidate you will be : A fast learner able to pick up physical tasks in Sterile operations ,theory of Good Manufacturing Practice and different computer systems quickly , have a meticulous attention to detail and a careful approach . driven to do the right thing at all times , an excellent work ethic and be a strong communicator and supportive team member :
You must have GCSE Grade C or above Maths & English or equivalent Level 2
Due to location and shift times own transport highly desirable
