An excellent career development opportunity has arisen for a Product Safety Advisor to join this regulatory team.
This multinational organisation based in a beautiful part of Kent is looking to hire a product safety advisor to join their Product Safety department. You will help play a key role in their continued success by ensuring that their business complies with European and Global legislations relating to the supply of chemical products.
Your responsibilities would be:
Help complete 65 registrations that need to be completed under REACH UK which has come about due to BREXIT
Collaborating with other departments across our company's group such as R&D, marketing team, supply chain etc.
Understanding and knowledge of REACH, CLP, FCM, global data for FSIS products and raw materials to help manage and maintain
Interrupting, sharing and collecting regulatory compliance issues and trends that will impact company products concerning REACH regulations / registrations, CLP, FCM, Global compliance, no deal Brexit
Compiling and monitoring the company SDSs
Preparing health and safety labels in line with latest regulations
Help the department line manager by assisting in the preparation of documentation
Liaise with key suppliers and customers in order to ensure up to date regulatory information is available to the business
Work collaboratively with Global Product Safety teams to ensure product hazard classification, SDS authoring and H&S labelling requirements are harmonizedKey Requirements:
A relevant degree (Chemistry, Toxicology) or extensive experience in a product safety, regulatory affairs/ stewardship
Proven notifications or registrations experience
Experience with sensitive market application regulations - REACH regulations/registrations, CLP, GHS, BPR, global chemical legislations
General knowledge of upcoming no deal Brexit implications ((import/export, GB CLP, GB REACH)
Strong IT skills and experience establishing/ manipulating databases and document management systems
Able to recognize regulatory changes and trends including FSIS market sectors and foresee impacts of change driven by product safety activities on other parts of Fujifilm businessIf you are a motivated individual who wants an opportunity for stable growth and development then this is the job for you!
