Job Description

Quality Associate - Product Test Technician

Location: Witney

Duration: 1 year initially with a view to be extended

Shift: Saturday - Wednesday 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm

Our global health care client based in Witney is looking for professionals to join their department as a Product Test Technician - Quality Associate

To deliver quality and compliant sensor testing on time, in full and cost effectively to meet the needs of the business and customers.

Performing sampling, inspections, sensor testing, batch record review and approval to support product release, on-market stability, complaints, and product development trials. Perform inspections associated with laboratory investigations and / or technical / quality system investigations and generate associated reports.

Work positively and effectively with fellow team members, cross functional groups and managers, making sure that all communications and behaviours are consistent with the Company's core values and the Abbott Code of Conduct.

Individually accountable for the quality and efficiency of their own actions whilst performing sensors testing, and to remain compliant with the quality system, GLP and regulatory requirements.

To maintain awareness of new/changed products and processes within the area, and to proactively support projects and drive improvements in terms of quality, cost and efficiency in line with Business Excellence initiatives.

To ensure compliance with EHS Regulations and Abbott standards by adhering the EHS systems and procedures.

Being accountable for the health and safety of themselves and others by highlighting where EHS improvements can be made.

Requirements needed:

Secondary level education necessary - English and Maths

Be able to work independently and work as part as a team

Understand technical information and make appropriate risk-based decisions

To be successful you will need experience of working within in a GMP or other regulated Manufacturing, Laboratory, Cleanroom or Engineering environment. You will also require excellent observational skills, attention to detail and proficiency with IT and databases. Good communication skills to a range of the functional areas will also be required.
