International Pharmaceutical Manufacturer requires a Production Shift Manager on a rotating 4 on 4 off basis.

Skills and experience:

Proven ability to manage, inspire & develop new and established leaders or first line managers
Experience of using KPI data to recognise trends and devise and implement improvement plans
Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver clear and concise messages including business mission objectives to team members and leaders addressing operational meetings/reviews/actions
Ability to utilise strong emotional intelligence to motivate the teams
A strong decision maker with proven ability to critically assess viable options and provide practical decisions quickly and efficiently
Ability to work well under pressure and motivate others to meet deadlines
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of working within a pharmaceutical environment with considerations for Quality Control and Environmental Control
Exposure to employee relations issues within the workplace. To include sickness absence, disciplinaries and grievances.
Experience of successful ongoing and high-volume recruitment
Strong experience of effectively planning, organising and managing production activities across different process streams
Experience of working within an environment which is focussed on continuous improvement.
Experience of working within an aseptic/equipment/processing environment to GMP standards
Knowledge of data integrity requirements
Experience of preparing for internal and external audits / regulatory inspections
