Salary/Rate: £30,000-£40,000

Are you an experienced Research Scientist with expertise in Protein Biochemistry? Are you looking for a new challenge with a unique and innovative company?

We are currently working with a novel therapeutic Biotechnology company who are now looking to recruit for a Research Scientist to join their Proteins team. The company have big plans to grow and develop even further and are now looking for a key individual to join them on their quest to do so. Focusing on therapeutic treatment for a range of diseases, they offer a first-class service which is highly unique.

The suitable incumbent will play a key part in the company’s development, contributing to a variety of exciting experiments and trials. They will work closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team and look to solve problems and issues with a technical and innovative mindset. The individual will also look to present important information regarding updates on progress as well as keep laboratory documentation up to date and to standard.

To be considered for the role you will need a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences and ideally a master’s degree and PhD in related topics. Strong expertise in protein characterisation, purification and antibody discovery are also imperative. You should be able to communicate effectively and professionally with a variety of individual as well as be able to work autonomously. A strong passion for science is highly important as well as having an inquisitive mindset.
