Job Description

QA Officer

I am recruiting for a QA Officer to join a global pharmaceutical manufacturer on a permanent basis. The role is 12 hour shifts 6-6 both days and nights. My client is offering up to £30,000 per annum plus £7500 shift allowance along with 5% bonus.
This role is responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of quality standards and systems to ensure that products comply with Marketing Authorisations, specifications and cGMP.

Responsibilities

To support manufacturing and other operations in the development, implementation and maintenance of GMP standards
To review and approve batch manufacturing and packaging documentation within agreed timelines to support product release spending at least 50% of time on line performing batch reviews and line audits.
To review and approve quality documentation to ensure compliance
To prepare and complete product quality reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
To close out failure investigations and preventative actions to reduce repeat failures and to monitor actions to prevent overdue actions - Non Conformance Investigations/Reports
To identify, design and deliver GMP training
To carry out audits to support the identification, actioning and close out of non-compliance issues Audit schedule Audit actions Requirements

BSc or equivalent in Scientific discipline
Experience of working in a Quality Assurance role within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
Experience of biologics or sterile manufacturing is highly desirable
