Job Description

Do you excel in an analytical environment? Do you have strong experience in HPLC analysis and method validation?
We are looking for an exceptional Quality Control Analyst to join our client’s growing analytical business, eventually developing management responsibilities. The role will involve the testing of pharmaceutical, herbal and veterinary products for both chemistry and microbiology with training provided where required. The role is ideal for analysts who are looking to take the next step in their career and grow with an ambitious company.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all Quality Control testing of raw materials, packaging, finished products and intermediates is performed in accordance with GMP and pharmacopoeial requirements
* Support other team members and departments as required
* Provide technical expertise in analytical techniques and carryout validation work on new methods, existing methods and equipment
* Use of LIMS
* Housekeeping, including stock checks and stock orders in addition to supplier management
* Ensure routine trending of results in the lab including reporting and investigation of OOS and OOT results, determining root causes and implementing effective CAPA actions
* Develop Specifications and Standard Operating Procedures including safe systems of work
* Support inspections and audits of facilities and ensure that any adverse observations and findings are fully evaluated and suitable CAPA’s implemented and closed out in a timely manner
The successful candidate will hold a degree in a scientific discipline and substantial previous work experience within an analytical setting. You will be highly profiecient in the use and application of HPLC, UV, IR and dissolution among other techniques, with a good understanding of method validation. Most importantly, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and will be highly results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines.
