For those individuals who join the Trust and are based to specific stations (Wexham, High Wycombe and Bracknell) you will receive £1,000 upon joining. In addition to this you will also receive £1,000 if you stay at your allocated station for 12 months post training (i.e. when you have finished in training and 3rd manning). Please note that these sums are subject to the usual deductions of Tax and NI.
In addition to this we can also offer you up to £1,500 relocation expenses for these stations (High Wycombe, Bracknell, Wexham). Relocation expenses will be reimbursed in line with the Trusts relocation procedure and only upon receipts.

All we need you to have is:
Qualified Paramedic with current HCPC registration.
A full valid UK driving licence (including Category B and Category C1 – over 3500kg with no more than 3 points. The Trust motor insurers need to review each case of any applicants who had had their driving licence removed following a Dangerous Driving or Drink or Drugs offence for a minimum period of 5 years from when their licence is reinstated. Before we can consider offering a role.
Able to commit to a 2 week (full-time) and 2 day driving training course programme (paid) and on-going shift work.

The 2 week training programme, whilst you’ll be paid, is not residential so you will need to be able to get to the venue and back on your own.
Should you be what we are looking for and successfully shortlisted then you will be invited to an assessment centre, these are usually based at either our following locations: Newbury (Berkshire) or Northern House (Bicester, Oxfordshire).
All successful candidates who are offered a job with us will have to undertake employment checks as part of our recruitment process, including, an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) check, which SCAS will fund, clearance from our Occupational Health department, references, ID and right to work verification.
