Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a Quality Assurance and Improvement officer within he Public Health team at Northampton Council.
Contract – 3 month agency contract with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.
Working hours – Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00
Rate of pay – £17.90+ per hour
About the role
The post holder will be responsible for the performance management and quality improvement of a number of public health programmes and projects.
The specific programmes are subject to change over time to meet the needs of the public health department, however in the first instance it is anticipated that the role will focus on the contract management and quality assurance and improvement of the Northamptonshire NHS Health Check programme.
This includes the development, implementation, performance management and quality improvement of the NHS Health Check programme as well as providing assistance in the commissioning process
Contract and performance manage the NHS Health Checks programme (likely to be with either individual GP practices, groups of GP practices or GP Federations), the NHS Health Check IT support software contract and the NHS Health Check point of care testing (POCT) contract
About you
Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in a health role
