Job Description

Adecco are delighted to be recruiting for our Nationally recognised pharmaceutical client based in Perth as they support UK Public health in the battle against COVID.

We are currently looking for experienced Production Quality Controllers / Technicians as our client embarks on a huge growth plan.

The Production Quality Controller (PQC) will ensure control of quality within production is maintained throughout the production process. This will be achieved through verifying production steps and ensuring Batch documentation is completed accurately. In addition, the PQC will monitor the quality compliance in the media prep and aseptic filling areas. The PQC position requires excellent attention to detail and a strong quality mindset to ensure the accurate evaluation of product and documentation.

The role will be working with operations to produce a world class Right First-Time process to provide on time delivery to our customers. Included in the roll will be checking and entering raw materials stock data timely and accurately into SAP system.


Verify production steps real-time
Ensure all Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) are completed and accurate prior to them passing to QA in accordance with cGMP good documentation requirements
Confirm all the correct raw materials have been used and enter them into SAP against each product batch
Ensure batches are sent for QC testing when the batch is complete
Report unsafe or poor-quality practices immediately through the appropriate channels
Monitor, track and regularly report to your supervisor/manager on your KPIs and performance goalsExperience, skills & abilities required:

Must Have's

A Quality / Customer driven mind-set
A high level of numeracy
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills, written and verbal
Be confident to speak out and support others
Experience of production or laboratory environment Preferred

SAP experience
Excel competency
A knowledge / Experience of Quality system / GMP requirements
HNC or higher education levelThese roles will be working a 2-3-2 rotating shift pattern over 12 hour shifts. Day shift and night shift allowances are applicable and the roles will start life as temporary, moving to permanent contracts within a number of months.
