Pertemps are recruiting for a fantastic company based in Corby, Northamptonshire for a
Quality Control Laboratory Technician.

This role will suit someone who has a vision to succeed and grow with a forward thinking company where you will be an integral member of the auditing, research and development and technical support function.  
My client is particularly interested in people who want to further expand on a typical Quality Control position.
 
Working Monday to Friday core daytime hours, however a degree of flexibility is required with start and finish times to suit the business needs.
 
Some core key skills required are:

Testing raw materials and retaining samples
Prepare and maintain good record keeping with accurate documentation. Writing testing and protocols and reports
Continuous improvement
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and customers
Analysis of returned products to identify root cause
Prepare and produce laboratory trials, product development, sample batches and relevant documentation to agree methods and specifications
Maintain the company internal calibration system to agreed methods, specifications and schedules as documented in the calibration manualExperience and qualifications:

Educated in chemistry or related discipline to degree or equivalent level
Ideally with 4 years of experience of working in a chemicals or related industries under quality control environment
Ability to work independently with methodological approach to testing and act on the test results
Previous experience with a SAGE, SAP or similar planning system will be a distinct advantage
Good numeracy and organisational skills, attention to detail and computer literateInterested? Please click apply and send an up to date CV
