Despite the Covid-19 induced economic slowdown, one area of industry which is still managing to flourish is food production. Whether you’re currently working in food and looking for a change of scene, or if you’re a quality control professional looking to switch industry, I’m keen to tell you all about the position of Process Quality Supervisor.
Working with a family business within the food industry, you’ll head up a small, experienced team with a responsibility for product quality. With regards core duties you’ll be looking after a team of 2, making sure that product quality checks are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner. You’ll work with team members across the factory to implement improvements in quality measures and to enforce quality procedures. Due to the fact that it is a small team, you may also find yourself reacting to staff absences and getting hands on with the laboratory kit. Note that this is a freshly created position, thus you’ll be given freedom and autonomy to take aspects of the role in directions that you see fit.
The company themselves have created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere where their staff genuinely enjoy coming into work. This is reflected in the staff tenures - not many people leave and when new people do join, they generally stay a while (always a good sign!). If you’re looking for a bit of stability, are looking for your next challenge in quality or would just like to ask some questions then it would be great to hear from you!
