Salary: Up to £40,000 + benefits

Description: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Radiographer (General) to join a non-for-profit organisation that prides itself on the care and development of their employees.

You will join a skilled and friendly Diagnostic imaging team, who can offer further learning with CPD courses and training available. The team are backed by the latest diagnostic imaging facilities including wide bore MRI, X-ray, dental and CT scanning, and can offer immediate assessment and expert diagnosis.

Working as a Radiographer (General) you will deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a very varied caseload – within the department, on the ward and in theatre. You will be supporting leading practitioners and experiencing new practices, equipment, and facilities.

The hospital support and encourage CPD, and successful applicants will have the opportunity to train into other specialities (MRI, CT). The working atmosphere is highly professional and stimulating, yet friendly and collaborative like that of a large family unit.

This is a Full-Time role, however Part-Time may be considered for the right candidate.

There are also bank shifts available; informal discussions are welcomed.

Person Specification: To succeed as a Radiographer (General) you will need:

A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
A postgraduate qualification in an area of specialization
Radiation Protection Supervisor training and/ or qualification are desirable.
Post registration experience relevant to the role.
Excellent communication and team working abilities.
