Job Description

TTM Healthcare is looking for Senior Radiographer to join a Prestigious Private Hospital. Located on the Jubilee line, minutes from Central London, this luxury private Hospital has an international reputation for providing the highest quality of care to patients and is unique in that all profits fund our onsite Hospice.    
Operating 7 days a week with a 24 hour on-call set-up, the Imaging Department provides a fully digital service supported by a fully integrated Agfa RIS/ PACS/ Mediweb system and covers the full range of modalities. The cross sectional Imaging Suite includes 1.5T MRI, 3T MRI & 256 slices CT.  Shift patterns include extended working days, 12 hr shifts as well 8 hrs shifts within the 37.5 hour working week and on-call cover as per rota allocation.    
This role would ideally suit a Band 5/6 General or Senior Radiographer who can perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures, in general department, fluoroscopy and theatres.
The post requires full knowledge of IR(ME)R2000, Ionising radiation regulations, and adhere to the Code of Confidentiality and the Data Protection Act and experience in day to day usage of RIS/PACS    
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a range of diagnostic radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopy, general and theatre , contributing to the delivery of an effective, efficient and responsive imaging service
Ensure that all data inputs are recorded for both patient record integrity, accounts and statistical evaluation purposes
Acquire diagnostic images and physically position the full range of patient presentations accurately for examinations, taking into account patient limitations and adapting standard techniques where necessary
Operate advanced software on specialised Radiological equipment e.g. image reformatting and dynamic imaging 
 
Requirements:
DCR or BSc in Radiography
HCPC registered
To have a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience
To have recent experience in performing Fluoroscopy
Familiar with PACS RIS and HI systems
Good understanding of legislation relating to Radiation protection and Health & Safety
To have a good understanding of legislation relating to Radiation Protection, Infection Control and Health and Safety
