    • Radiographer Development Program (RDP) (18-24 month program)

The RDP provides radiographers the opportunity to undertake a structured program of self-development in all aspects of the x-ray including audit, equipment and techniques. This is actively supported by in-house run CPD sessions and the opportunity to attend external training/learning events. Poole radiology is very pro-active endorsing CPD, with a number of education events supported by the department available for staff to enrol on.

Poole Hospital x-ray department is almost completely digital radiography (DR). The radiology department supports university placements for training student radiographers, with intakes from both Exeter and Portsmouth Universities.
